Time management for cosplayers can be a huge challenge. Here’s my tips for staying on track, even if you don’t have a lot of time to work on cosplay.
Many of us who have nerd interests have experienced a lack of understanding for our hobbies from others in our lives. Sometimes this judgement can come from friends, coworkers, or even from inside our own households. In some cases this disconnect can cause strife between you and your loved ones. If you are hoping to improve a relationship with someone important to you who does not get your nerd interests, I want to share with you what has worked for me.
It's perfectly normal to not be satisfied with the first results of a costume you make. With some costumes, I'm never done working on them. Others take a few tries to get it right. Each time you work on a project, you learn new techniques and refine your skills. Sometimes taking another shot at an older costume can be very satisfying!
